Terms & Conditions
Last updated 27 August 2026
These terms apply whenever you order from My Forever Pet ("we", "us", "our") at this website. Please read them before ordering — placing an order means you accept them.
Who we are
My Forever Pet is run by Colin, based in Tutbury, Staffordshire, UK. You can reach us at Colin@mfpm.co.uk or through our contact page.
Our products
Every piece is hand-cut from solid steel and personalised to order with your pet's name. Because each one is made and finished by hand, small variations in the cut, patina, and engraving are normal and part of the character of the piece — they aren't faults.
Personalisation
You're responsible for checking the name and any other details you enter at checkout before paying. We engrave exactly what's submitted. If you spot a mistake, contact us as soon as possible — we can usually amend an order before production starts, but can't guarantee changes once a piece has been cut.
Price and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include personalisation. Payment is taken in full at checkout via card or PayPal. Your order is confirmed once payment has gone through and you've received a confirmation email.
Production and dispatch
Every piece is made to order, so please allow the dispatch time shown on the product page (typically 5–10 working days) before it's posted. We'll email you when your order is confirmed, when it goes into production, and again with tracking once it's on its way.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the UK only. Delivery times are in addition to the production time above and depend on the courier. Let us know if your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable time of the dispatch email and we'll help track it down.
Cancellations and returns
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Regulation 28(1)(b), goods made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised are exempt from the standard 14-day "change of mind" cancellation right that applies to off-the-shelf goods. Because every piece is personalised with your pet's name, this exemption applies to orders placed here.
This doesn't affect your other rights — see our Returns & Refunds policy for full details, including what happens if something arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Complaints
If something's gone wrong, contact us first at Colin@mfpm.co.uk so we can put it right. We don't currently belong to a formal Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. If we can't resolve a complaint between us, you can get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service or report the issue to Trading Standards.
Our liability
We aren't liable for delays or failures outside our reasonable control (for example, courier delays). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies is the one in place when you place your order.
